Best activity 1: Essay contest “DeFiLe on Life”

34 girls from different regions of country sent their essays for participating in Contest. Each of participants showed in essay its own leader position and vision of its active public activity now and in the future. Contest attracted society attention to gender issues in Ukraine, popularized idea of women leadership and prompted active women to participate in public activity process.

Best activity 2: Action “Landscaping city”

Activity gathered together PIT.Ua activists, their families, friends and acquaintances which created friendly environment among TU members and potential members in the person of friends and relatives. Action attracted TV which filmed the event and showed it on “City” channel. Even though event wasn’t devoted to the gender issues it drew attention of society to PIT.Ua as organisation which unites people and created positive image of TU.

Best activity 3: All-Ukrainian Women’s Assembly

This event presented DFL campaign and TU in particular PIT.Ua and Women Committee to Ukrainian public organisations. We managed to gather together business representatives, politicians and social workers and encouraged them to cooperate. This will help to unite the efforts of all people concerned about gender equality. Participants of the event expressed the readiness and intention to create the consolidated center of women’s movement.
